Used to link to different tables, as well as GIS
information. |
| Typically used to designate a maintenance district,
Landscape Maintenance District (LMD) or zone. |
| The mailing address or frontage address of the property. |
| The street name of the mailing or frontage address of the property. |
| Indicates the location of the tree at that address.
Location types include: Front, Side, Median, Rear, and Sub Street Median. |
| All sites at an address (trees, vacant planting sites, or stumps) are
assigned a tree number. Tree numbers begin with 1 at each address and increase
in the direction of increasing addresses on that side of the street. |
| Physical location of the site. |
| X indicates a fictitious or assigned address. A fictitious address is
created when there is no visible address at a site. Examples may include
streetscapes or slopes, medians, or non-addressed lots between properties. |
| For front, median, or sub street trees, the On Street and the Street name are the
same. For side trees the On Address is the name of the street where the tree is
planted, and the Street name is the mailing or frontage address of the property. |
| Trees are identified by their genus and species (botanical name). Cultivar names
(cultivated variety) are used only when it is necessary to differentiate them from
similar species or cultivars. |
| Tree diameters are measured at breast height: approximately 4.5 ft above ground
level. Diameters are measured in ranges: 0-6, 7-12, 13-18, 18-24, 24-30, and >30. |
| Tree heights are estimated to the top of the crown. They are grouped in ranges of
0-15, 16-30, 31-45, 46-60, and >60. |
